RE: Class C MPG

I get 20 mpg on my 31 footer...some times a little more...depends on how steep the hill is that I'm going down...going back up is another story...always seems to average out about 8 mpg no matter what speed I drive and I never drive over 60 mph trying to conserve on the gas consumption...I'm always towing a trailer loaded with either 2 snomobiles or 2 atv's...I don't travel without them... Maybe i could get my mileage up to 8.5 or 9 if I weren't pulling my favorite toys..

RE: Alert!!! Morgan RV inc. not pet friendly!!!!!!!!!

I know a lot of campers that will not stay in a campground that allows dogs and pets in their campground...We have two dogs ourselves but when we go camping we leave the dogs with our daughter or in a kennel until we return home...By posting your article that no one should do business with RV parks that won't allow pets on their premises is doing the pet hater campers a favor by letting them know where they can camp without a problem with peoples pets...That statement works both ways and would probably steer more business, not less, to their campgrounds by letting people know where they can camp pet free...

RE: I35 through Iowa

I've been making that drive for years and never had a problem with the highway.. a few small hills along the way but nothing that bothered us...lots of corn fields to see...and we've seen a lot of deer there...but the roads have never been bumpy or rough...

By all means go to Door county peninsula...Motels, hotels, cottages and there are so many that are located on the Bay of Green Bay and Lake Michigan...Go up to the Sister Bay area in Door County and you can't go wrong...Been there, done that...Fantastic places to stay...Congratulations on your upcoming marriage..:)

RE: Best way to keep dog close to camp

Buy a small poodle that constantly comes in heat and keep her in a small pen so she can't get out...that should solve your problem...That big male will stay close to her forever...Problem solved.:h

RE: Camping around LaCrosse, WI

If you're self contained and can boodock there's a place on the north side of La Crosse on the Black river where people launch their boats that should be available...I've stayed there a number of times...it's a nice setting with the river going by but there are many places for boondocking in and around La Crosse, and the Onalaska area for staying...Another place for camping just south of La Crosse on the Great River Road called Goose Island...They have a lot of camping spaces there and it's about 10 miles south of La Crosse...Very nice place to camp...I use to live in La Crosse and I've stayed at most of the campgrounds around there when we go back home to our old stomping grounds...The snow man...:)

champion generator

has anyone checked out the champion generator? my daughter has a 5th wheel and she's looking for a generator that will run her a/c...she has been told the champion 3500 would work for her but can't find out what the cost would be...she also wants to know if it's a quiet generator as that is a necessity for her...someone told her it's a few decibles louder than the honda 2000...I find that hard to believe. thanks for your response...

RE: Yosemite Upper Pines #37 campsite

If you drove by it you should know if your unit will fit or not...If it says 32 feet and your unit will fit in a 32 foot spot you shouldn't have any problem parking there...Can't figure out why you're wondering if it will fit or not... Maybe spend the nights at Walmart or the Flying J...they have a lot or room...
